Health Benefits Of Coconut Oil

Most likely you have heard about coconut oil. Because it has become very popular recently.
What exactly is coconut oil? Coconut oil is fruit of the coconut palm. The oil of the nut (fruit) is used to make medicine. Or the supplements. You can now buy coconut oil just about any food market. Or even on amazon. Right now, I’m enjoying noodles (gluten free of course!) smothered with coconut oil, and chicken. It’s pretty yummy, and healthy!
I started using coconut oil more than a year ago to replace butter since I was so sensitive to dairy. Now, it’s doesn’t have a butter flavor at all. But it is a good replacement for butter. Actually, it’s a good replacement for recipes that call for any kind of other oil or butter. Because it is actually good for you. There is SO many uses and benefits for coconut oil. The list would go on and on.
Here are a few health benefits:
Diabetes, heart disease, chronic fatigue, Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Alzheimer’s disease, thyroid conditions, energy, and boosting the immune system. Ironically, despite coconut oil’s high calorie and saturated fat content, some people use it to lose weight and lower cholesterol.
