An All Natural Cleanse With Many Health Benefits

I hope everyone had a good Valentine’s Day! Mine was okay. I did end up pretty sick all day. That wasn’t very fun. Not how I wanted to spend the day since Caleb and I had plans to go to the movies and make dinner at home. Well we ended up just watching The Vow and cuddling on the couch. Even though I wasn’t feeling well, just spending the day together was good enough for me! We have put a rain check on our dinner and movie date when I’m feeling all better.
Today I am still feeling kind of bad. But I think I’m getting better. I actually want to eat. So I have had three meals today. I need to eat since I didn’t get much nutrients the past few days. And I’m defiantly getting all my vitamins in me. So hopefully by the end of the weekend I’m back to my usual self!
To help myself get better and get all the toxins out. I decided I’m going to do a cleanse. I have researched SO many cleanses. It’s overwhelming. There is so many out there. Some that I would want to try, like a juice cleanse. But there are others that just seem way to harsh. Most cleanses are pretty expensive. But if you are doing an all juice cleanse, it replaces the cost of food for however long you are doing it. So you have to think of that when you see the price add up. Right now, I didn’t want to dive into a harsh cleanse or anything to expensive. So I stumbled upon a cleanse that I have all the ingredients already! So that’s a plus. It’s a honey and cinnamon cleanse. I have posted about raw honey and cinnamon before. But I just somehow skipped over this cleanse. Let me just get right to it.

The combination of honey and cinnamon has been used in oriental medicine for centuries. Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices known to mankind and honey’s popularity has continued throughout history. The two ingredients with unique healing abilities have a long history as a home remedy. Cinnamon’s essential oils and honey’s enzyme that produces hydrogen peroxide qualify the two “anti-microbial” foods with the ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi. Both are used not just as a beverage flavoring and medicine, but also as an embalming agent and are used as alternatives to traditional food preservatives due to their effective antimicrobial properties. People have claimed that the mixture is a cure for many diseases and a formula for many health benefits.

Cheers to health!
